You will give in-class, PowerPoint presentations on the additional readings, which can be found on the course website. We will work out the schedule of presentations as the semester progresses, attempting to be as equitable as possible in the division of presentations among students.

Your presentation on a reading should address the following points:

  • The main points and conclusions of the reading
  • Your opinion of the reading (did you like it or dislike it, and why?)
  • Strenths and weaknesses of the reading from your perspective

Your presentation on a reading should be about 5-7 minutes long, with a few minutes afterward for questions and answers.
